I didn’t win the C&K challenge. The winning piece was an intricate illustration/drawing.
I’m not going to Istanbul for three nights in four star luxury.
Am quite sad not to get time out with DH and not to be going to see lots of Islamic art and architecture.
However I do have a lovely piece of art for my house.
oh. well, you probably have been able to get people to think of the textile side of India, which may not have been represented otherwise.

So sorry to hear that. Am sure your piece was lovelier in every way. To start with it was textile! And just maybe you will make it to Istanbul anyway one of these days. It would be a great artist outing.

ReplyDeleteI agree with the previous comments. Would have won if I was the judge! I also would really like to visit Istanbul but it is just a dream at present.
