Creativity

Maybe you've been wondering what I've been doing recently?

Getting to grips with the third computer in six months….coping with a 12 year old and his exams for High School… calming a stressed husband…

There's not been so much on the stitching front (I really needed an artistic break to recharge after all the exhibitions in 2012),

Well the last few months I'v spent every sunny spare minute outside in the garden.  For the first time in several years I've had the energy to plant, weed and water.

Look at these lovely, beautiful plants.

I feel like a proud mamma :)

Avebury Part 2

At Last!
The Other Side to Avebury – the village, the pub, the shops and the Manor.

Fantastic pub lunch, highly recommended.
(No photos, too busy eating it!)

Avebury Museum has a few interesting pieces.

Avebury Manor, made interesting by the fact that the National Trust is allowing you to TOUCH everything.  I had a flick through a few 1930’s magazines, sat in a 1930’s armchair and DS played billiards.

The garden was stunningly well ordered.

I loved the rustic nature of this gate.

And what a thing to see as we left Avebury after a REALLY enjoyable day.
Mother Nature was beautiful again.
