Japan Aid

I have discovered this charity and wanted to tell others about it.  Obviously who ever you support is totally personal.

  1. Please do support Shelterbox. It is my local charity, having begun as an initiative by Helston Rotary. Helston is a town in the far south-west of Cornwall and we are all very proud of what Shelterbox does. It gets to places extremely quickly and you know the money is not going in unnecessary overheads, but it needs a lot more publicity beyond Cornwall, given the demands being made on it.

  2. I saw these guys out there within some of the first TV reports we've received here in the UK and they seem very well worth supporting. They're aiming to reach some of the northerly cut off areas I think and their boxes will be most useful.

    Thanks for the link Helen.
